- 500g of high-quality beef mince
- 70ml of whole milk
- 1 beaten egg
- A handful of thyme sprigs, leaves picked
- 3 finely chopped onions
- 2 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp of German or Dijon mustard
- ½ tbsp of finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 200g of feta, drained and cut into cubes
- 1 red pepper, sliced into strips
- 1 yellow pepper, sliced into strips
- 500ml of passata
Instructions:
- Preparation: Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Soak torn bread in a bowl with 150ml warm water for 10 mins. Grease a large casserole or baking dish using half the olive oil.

- Add Passata: Remove from the oven and pour passata around and over the vegetables. Continue roasting for another 25-30 mins until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
- Serve: Slice and serve with rice if desired.
